Silver Cross, a nursey specialist based in North Yorkshire, appointed Origin this year to create a new and improved website that enhanced online customer experiences.
The brand, renowned for its baby prams and pushchairs, needed an agency to refresh the style and administration of its website, whilst reducing user journey friction points.
Silver Cross turned to Origin because of its long-standing relationship with our team, which began in 2008. The brand nominated us to develop a new custom site that puts the focus on the customer and utilises intelligent technology to improve user experiences.
Our team rose to the challenge and completed the site within a four month timeframe.
The site which has now gone live and can be viewed here features…
- Stylish design which reflects the luxury brand’s heritage and manufacturing expertise
- Enhanced user experience considerations
- Interaction image models and product “hot spot” details
- Intelligent user behaviour monitoring capabilities
- Customer personalisation
- Customer check out and payment integration
- Social media and review trigger points
- A baby wish list section for users to share with friends
- A customer store finder tool with all stockist details
Sam Wilson, Ecommerce Manager at Silver Cross, said: “2019 has been an exciting year at Silver Cross and we’ve updated a number of things across our business. As part of this push, we wanted to drastically improve our online presence, so we dissected the user experience (UX) of our website to really understand what’s important to our customers.
“This focus on UX led us to rethink the overall look, feel and design of our website too, to make sure our brand stands out from the noise and gains the prominence it deserves as one of the leading baby product manufacturers in Britain.
“Origin’s digital team has supported us for a number of years, and it was a no brainer when choosing them to deliver this project.
“We’re so happy with the site that they’ve delivered and we’re confident that it’ll go above and beyond our customers’ expectations.”
Phil Davies, our Digital Project Manager, said: “It’s really positive that Silver Cross returned to us for this project and we’re delighted with the final result.
“We’re looking forward to seeing how the new site improves overall eCommerce performance for the brand and continuing our working relationship with Silver Cross into 2020.”
